Wow – you won’t believe how the new condos are coming
along. We will be living in one of them
within the next two weeks. Can’t wait to
truly enjoy our own place in Las Lajas Panama.
Down here all the new buildings are built of cement and are
pretty sturdy. Even the tiles on the
floors are solid and great quality. Here
is the outside balcony tiles and how great they look.
Love the showers and the rainfall nozzle. Really a relaxing and invigorating shower.
Big rainstorm last night, lots of lightning. Unbelievable to watch it coming in over the
ocean in sheet after sheet of bright bolts of lights and clapping thunder. Got up this morning, no water anywhere and
you would never have know there was such a great storm during last evening and
all night long.
Went fishing at the estuary where they have taken out huge
snappers. Got a bit burned by the sun
(no sunburn lotion on), lost a great lure and got no fish. However, great time, you know what they say
that any fishing time if good time regardless of what you catch.
Did a couple of casts into the surf right in front of the
house and watched the sunset. Gorgeous – what a place this Las Lajas is.
